Blockchain (BC) is a burgeoning technology that has emerged as promising solution to peer-to-peer communication security and privacy challenges. As revolutionary technology, blockchain drawn the attention of academics researchers. Cryptocurrencies have already effectively utilized BC technology. Many researchers sought implement this technique in different sectors, including Internet Things. To store manage IoT data, we present paper lightweight BC-based architecture with modified raft algorithm-based consensus protocol. We designed Device Agent executes novel registration procedure connect devices blockchain. implemented framework on Docker using Go programming language. simulated Linux environment hosted cloud. conducted detailed performance analysis variety measures. The results demonstrate our suggested suitable for facilitating management data increased privacy. In terms throughput block generation time, indicate might be 40% 45% faster than existing
